Pop Trading Company Joost Swarte Hoodie

As part of a collaborative capsule range for AW20, this black Joost Swarte Hoodie has been designed in partnership with the famous Danish artist whose playful comic characters have earned him a dedicated international following. Constructed from soft heavyweight cotton with flexible ribbed cuffs, this hoodie provides casual everyday comfort with an attached hood that can be resized to suit using external pullcords complete with silver metal aglets. The raglan shape sleeves allow for a full range of movement and on the centre of the chest a bold, colourful screen printed graphic shows a playful illustration in tones of pink, yellow and blue with skateboarding characters moving around stylised ‘Pop’ text. Below this a kangaroo pouch pocket offers space to carry essentials and around the left side of the body, simplistic ‘Pop Trading Company’ text has been stitched in white for a stand out effect. Helping to keep the fit secure but comfortable when active wide ribbed cuffs wrap around the edge of the body and long sleeves.

Famous for creating comic characters such as Katoen en Pinbal, Jopo de Pojo, Anton Makassar and Dr Ben Cine, Joost Swarte is a firm favourite within Danish culture and continues to bring a smile to fans’ faces through playful illustrations and stories. In support of their local creatives and upbringing, Pop Trading Company founders Peter Kolks and Ric van Rest have continued their ongoing partnership with selected artists for AW20 with custom artwork created especially for the release in celebration of their Amsterdam base and appreciation for art.
