Featuring a colourful ‘Zap!’ cartoon graphic illustrated by Malmö based illustrator Jacob Ovgren, this white classic mug from Polar is a new arrival for winter ‘19. Standing out against the white glazed ceramic background, the colourful design shows a blue duck with a green peak firing a laser at a wooden duck with stylised ‘Zap!’ lettering above in green and ‘Polar Skate Co.’ underneath against a mustard yellow background. This mug is suitable for dishwashing.
Seen in a previous season the ‘Zap!’ graphic has been designed by Jacob Ovgren who heads up Polar’s art department and is known for his playful, often crude design style. Having met Polar’s founder Pontus Alv at a skatepark, the duo began working together to create collaborative apparel and skate hardware designs. Illustrations from Ovgren can be found within each release under the title of ‘Jacob’s Corner’.
