Polar Shin Sanbongi Skate Rabbit Deck

Drawing attention to Shin Sanbongi's arrival onto the Polar skate team in the spring of 2020, this white 8.5" Skate Rabbit Deck is an official Shin pro style made from high quality 7-ply maple and features custom artwork created by Toshikazu especially for the season. On the topside a monochrome illustration has been printed above one set of truck holes and shows breaking waves oozing out of a shaped border with Japanese lettering in the centre and stylised 'Polar Skate Co. artwork by Toshikazu' lettering underneath in black. A larger design features on the reverse in between both truck hole sets showing a white rabbit skateboarding away from large breaking waves with bold 'Sanbongi Shin' text above, all of which is coloured in tones of blue and white for a distinctive effect.

Raised in the Chigasaki region of Japan, an area known as the birthplace of surfing in the country, Shin Sanbongi combines the turns and maneuvers often seen in the water with his street skateboarding skills which have earned him a solid reputation for a unique style. Having been officially welcomed to Polar's international team in April 2020, the summer and autumn collection both feature artwork created especially to welcome Sanbongi to the crew with references to his Japanese heritage.
