The Polar Big Boy Socks are one of our favourite accessories for the coming season. The cotton, polyester blend has a soft-to-skin feel that’s anatomically shaped for a fit suitable for any activity, be it skating or hanging out. Thanks to the light addition of spandex across the ribbing on the shin, the socks are flexible and maintain fit retention throughout both use and washing. The white socks have been contrasted by woven bands of green that run across the top of the shoe with red detailing that spells out ‘Big’ and ‘Boy’ in a red. The detailing is finished off with a small, smiley face detail over the heel.
Polar is best known for staple silhouettes that blend retro streetwear and skatewear with more updated designs suited for today’s fashion climate. Based in Malmö, the brand was founded in 2011 and is one of the foremost leading independent skate brands with the best names in the Scandinavian scene signed to them.
