The new line of accessories for SS19, the Polar Big Boy Socks have been given an updated colourway. Made from a cotton and polyester blend these have a classical soft feel that’s comfortable no matter the occasion with the addition of 5% spandex for flexibility to the anatomical shaping of the sock. With the standard styling of a crew sock the Big Boy Socks feature ribbing across the top to ensure fit retention and detailing includes four bands in a sharp aqua colour to contrast the white body of the sock, with the addition of ‘Big’ and ‘Boy’ woven onto the uppers in orange. The socks are finished with a small illustration above the heel woven in an orange stitching.
The SS19 Polar collection shows a revitalisation of some classic silhouettes that have been updated in colourways ready for summer. Polar was founded in 2011 by Pontus Alv, falling into a niche market that blends retro skatewear and streetwear in every aspect of their brand; from videography to the art or design that features on pieces.
