Polar Aaron Herrington Crash Deck

Featuring new season artwork from Malmö based illustrator and head of Polar's art department Jacob Ovgren, this Aaron Herrington Crash Deck measures to 8.25" in width and is cut from high quality 7-ply Canadian maple. Set against a bright colour wash background the underside has a detailed illustration that covers the majority of its length showing a crashed red car aflame with a stunt driver and lampost alongside with 'Herringbone Avenue' and 'NYC' signs. In the foreground a newspaper box has been tipped over with a breaking news headline and litter on the surrounding ground. The topside features an additional illustration of the newspaper box in black and white being held up by small a character against a solid colour wash.

This season from Malmö based Polar Skate Co. introduces a fresh selection of artwork from founder Pontus Alv, Tynan Kerr and Jacob Ovgren. Known for his playful creative style and attention to detail within cartoon scenes, Ovgren draws inspiration from everyday occurrences within cities which he adds his own dark humorous touch to. Founded by Pontus Alv in 2011 Polar draws inspiration from '90s styling, art, culture and the local Malmö skate scene and has become one of the most celebrated skate companies to come out of Europe.
