  • Polar Aaron Herrington Breaking News Deck

The newest pro model by Polar resident Aaron Herrington is the Breaking News Deck, the 7 ply Canadian maple construction keeps a durable ride with an 8.5” width for stability. The graphic of the deck features artwork by Jacob Ovgren, with varying coloured wood stains being contrasted by drawing of a red dog reading the news.

Jacob Ovgren is Polar’s chief of graphic design, working closely alongside Pontus Alv to create quirky yet effective cartoons that often include a little humorous twist. Polar was founded in 2011, being based in Malmo the brand has quickly taken over the European skate scene and is now seeing transcontinental fame.
