Seen here in a classic navy colourway, the Patagonia Fitz Roy Horizons Uprisal Crewneck Sweatshirt is a casual, regular fit style decorated with artwork designed by Neil Hubert. Made from 95% recycled materials and 5% spandex fleece, this style carries Fair Trade Certification throughout its construction. Designed for everyday wear, the body has been cut to a regular fit with a ribbed neckline and screen printed artwork has been positioned centrally across the chest. Applied using PVC and phthalate-free inks, the Mount Fitz Roy design has been coloured in tones of purple, blue and coral with a white outline and Patagonia text below. The sleeves and body are completed by flexible trims that provide a secure fit.
This autumn/winter ‘19 style uses 10.8 plastic bottles combined with .6 pounds of fabric scrap within its production. Originally a rock climbing hardware company, Yvon Chouinard founded Patagonia in 1973 through a need for durable apparel, and set to develop his own line of clothing and accessories that could withstand repetitive wear when worn for a variety of outdoor activities.
