New for spring as Patagonia’s lowest carbon footprint tee, this pumice coloured Fitz Roy Horizons Responsibili-Tee Long Sleeve T-Shirt features front and back screen printed graphics applied using PVC and phthalate-free inks. Made from a blend of recycled cotton and postconsumer recycled polyester, the body has been cut to a regular fit and the shoulder seams have been taped for comfort and fit retention. The curved neckline has a narrow ribbed trim and on the left side of the chest ‘Patagonia’ has been printed in white. A larger design by Neil Hubert can be seen on the reverse across the shoulders and shows a reworked version of the famous Patagonia logo with a white outline and large ‘Patagonia’ text underneath. The body has a straight cut hem whilst the sleeves have flexible ribbed cuffs.
Using bluesign approved fabrics and carrying Fair Trade Certification throughout its construction, this new season t-shirt from Patagonia represents their ongoing efforts to reduce their environmental impact whilst demonstrating to other brands how it can be achieved. As a 100% recycled design, 0.26 pounds of fabric scrap and 4.8 discarded bottles are used for each style which in turn uses 96% less water and 45% less COS than a conventional tee.
