Patagonia Better Sweater Jacket in Nickel and Forge Grey. Cut to a regular fit from 10oz 100% recycled polyester knitted fleece dyed with a low-impact process that reduces the use of dyestuffs, energy and water, this Patagonia Better Sweater Jacket can be layered throughout the year and has a low-bulk finish. Sewn using Fair Trade Certified™ methods, the front is fastened by a full-length zip that continues through the stand-up collar which has a soft, warm feel against the neck. On the left side of the chest a rectangular woven label presents the famous Patagonia mountain range logo design and alongside a vertical zip secured chest pocket has been sized to hold a phone or audio device. The raglan sleeve shape allows for mobility and on either side of the waist pockets with zip closures are available for holding larger items. Around the edge of the body and long sleeves shape-holding micro polyester jersey trim cuffs provide a flexible heat-retaining finish.
Linking sports with activism, Patagonia is passionate about protecting the environment whilst being one of the world’s leading outdoor clothing brands. With roots in California, USA founder Yvon Chouinard initially started the brand with reusable climbing pegs and English rugby shirts that could withstand repetitive wear before developing his own designs. Using their voice to raise awareness for climate change, Patagonia gives 1% sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment.
