Nike SB Shane Shoes

These all black Nike SB Shane Shoes feature low-key stylised perforated ventilation and smooth, durable suede uppers that stand up to repetitive abrasions. Designed in collaboration with pro rider Shane O’Neill whose own preferences feature across the shoe, a custom tongue label incorporates his own personal styling whilst signature Swoosh ticks sit on either side of the foot, embroidered in black for a subtle effect. Helping to keep the fit secure, this model features a unique lacing system that gives you the option to lace your shoes using traditional eyestays, or using ghillie loops for extra durability. Around the back of the heel a fabric insert adds extra character whilst below on the black outsole a debossed rubber graphic shows stylised ‘Nike SB’ lettering above an illustrated double sun emblem. Throughout the inside of the shoe a soft fabric lining has been added alongside a foam sockliner that features a Zoom Air unit within the heel for responsive cushioning. Auxetic shapes between the midsole and the outsole expand and contract in all directions to help enhance boardfeel and deliver consistent flick, whilst an extended rubber toe bumper on the outsole adds durability to a high wear area. Additionally, slightly higher taping between the midsole and upper helps to create a more consistent flick, resulting in subtle but effective features that are noticeable straight from unboxing.

As Shane O’Neill’s signature shoe, the Nike SB Shane was unveiled earlier this year and celebrated the riders time with Nike for almost 15 years. Having grown up wearing numerous Nike SB footwear styles, O’Neill has specified his own personal detailing across this signature design which has seen a variety of colour reworks since its arrival in February. Custom graphics and stylised perforation demonstrate his own character whilst the array of performance features ensure the shoe assists you during demanding skate sessions.
