A new shoe from Nike SB, the Blazer Chukka XT is a blend of a few ideas from the past with some tech from the present.
The Nike SB Blazer has been cut down by skateboarders ever since the original was taken from the basketball court to the streets. The Blazer Chukka XT celebrates this by lower the heel and showing a cut down tongue. The XT is a new addition to some of Nikes footwear incorporating a rubber toe cap for increased durability.
Some the best features are below the foot, there's a Zoom Air unit in the heel for impact support. Between the midsole and outsole auxetic shapes expand and contract to ensure pressure is equalised. Plus the outsole is thinned out in areas where it is not needed to reduce weight.
The upper of Nike SB Blazer Chukka XT Shoes is a soft suede, that feels broken in already, the Swoosh is perforated for a clean look. White laces match the white midsole, whilst the outsole is classic gum.
