Orange Earth
Dyed to a rich orange earth colourway, this Country Sun T-Shirt from Mollusk is made from soft and lightweight preshrunk cotton and features front and back screen printed graphics. Inspired by their sunny Californian surroundings, on the left side of the chest an illustration of a half sun with wavy beams has been printed in a brown tone ink above a small shaped patch pocket which has 2-thread flatlock stitching below its top edge. On the reverse the design can be seen in large and in full across the shoulders with a circular sun illustration with the same wavy beams which have all been printed in brown. For comfort the curved neckline has a narrow flexible trim whilst the body and sleeves have straight cut hems. This t-shirt has been designed and made in California.
Founded by John McCambridge in San Francisco, Mollusk is a surf shop which offers a place for locals to gather, see art and to bond over common interests. Not only do they stock an array of high quality boards, they design their own apparel and accessories which each reflect a laid back lifestyle spent in nature, with distinctive vintage influences from the golden era of surfing in California between the ‘50s - ‘70s.
