Garden Linda Deck in 8.5”. Perfectly presenting Edinburgh based Garden Skateboards’ signature illustrative style, this 7-ply maple skate deck measures 8.5” in width and features a full length custom screen printed underside design. Set against a blue background, the design shows a stylised illustration of a long haired character with glasses hugging a crying long nosed animal. To the left ‘Garden’ lettering has been applied in orange with a light blue vertical line to one side and below additional text reads ‘When the lighthouse falls the ships crash into the rocks. She heals everything’.
Founded by skateboarder Kieron Forbes, Garden Skateboards is an independent label based in Scotland’s capital which is working hard to put the hometown on the map in the world of skateboarding. With a strong use of colour, shapes and typography, Garden looks to a selection of up and coming artists to bring character to everyday apparel designs and skate hardware which for SP21 includes themes of mythology, nature, cartoons and pop culture.
