Navy Texture
Inspired by classic workwear styles, Folk have added their own modern twist to this Assembly Jacket which can be layered to suit throughout the year. Navy cotton with a lightly textured surface has been selected for a crisp finish and the snap button fastenings down the front have been chosen to match. On the left side of the chest a small patch pocket has curved edges and below two larger versions have been added at the waist. On the reverse a shoulder yoke encourages a classic shirt aesthetic and on the inside a pullcord waist adjuster allows you to resize the fit to suit. The sleeves have straight cut hems, as does the body.
Based in London, Folk was founded in 2002 by Scotsman Cathal McAteer whose vision for quietly elegant clothing and ‘style without drama’ is reflected within each seasonal release and collaborative project. For spring/summer ‘19, cotton linen blends have been selected to cater for warmer days without jeopardizing style, and custom watercolour prints from the Bristol based Goss brothers bring a distinctive character to essential summer silhouettes.
