Dickies Smithtown Trousers

Cut to a loose fit with a tapered leg, these black Dickies Smithtown Trousers are made from 245gsm 100% peached cotton twill which offers a smooth and durable finish. The fabric has had a silicon wash treatment which results in a slightly worn in look which complements the fact that this style has been designed for everyday wear whether you’re skating, walking or relaxing. Subtle pleat details sit underneath the elasticated waistband which has an internal pull cord that allows you to adjust the fit to suit and a false fly detail has been added below. Side entry hip pockets provide ample space to carry essentials in addition to two reverse welt pockets and on the right side, a black woven Dickies label has been added above on the right side which adds subtle branding to the design. The ankles have straight cut finishes which allow the fabric to be rolled and styled to suit. Also available in a heath green colourway.

Established in 1989, Dickies boasts an extensive history within designing durable American workwear and was introduced to Europe in the 1950’s; this lead the brand to also be the leading manufacturer for British workwear. Continuing to follow a simplistic aesthetic, popularity grew when styles were picked up by youth culture and hip-hop acts in the early ‘90s and soon after became prominent within the skateboarding scene thanks to the wide selection of fits, cuts and materials on offer.
