Champion Straight Hem Pants

Taking inspiration from traditional sportswear and reworking elements into a contemporary style, Champion have designed these khaki Straight Hem Pants to be made from a structured polyester/cotton blend, resulting in a heavier weight finish compared to conventional leisurewear styles. Subtle details elevate the silhouette into a more formal realm, such as neat vertical pleats down the front of both legs, bar tack stitching on either side pocket entrances and a custom waistband fastening. Rope-style pull cords have been inserted into the waistband, allowing for a customised fit whilst also adding an unexpected characteristic. Down the side of both legs, wide contrasting fabric taping has been overlaid, showing a woven repeat logo design coloured in white, red and blue. Below the waistband on the left side, a small embroidered Carhartt emblem has also been added.

Founded in 1919, Champion are one of the best recognisable sportswear brands that in recent years has made a strong comeback within the increase of sportswear and leisurewear popularity. Famous for designing athletic apparel for the U.S Military Academy and uniforms for NBA stars, 1952 saw the introduction of the reverse weave textile procedure, which reduced shrinkage whilst also providing flexibility and comfort for regular wear.
