Carhartt Munro Jacket in Tanami. Reminiscent of original polar explorer jackets but with a contemporary update, this new season Carhartt jacket features an artificial down fill for quick drying warmth and a smooth water repellent nylon poplin shell. The attached hood provides protection from the elements and can be cinched in using two external toggle adjuster cords whilst below a full length zip fastening is concealed by a wide nylon poplin placket that helps to protect it from rain and wind. Held in place by wide stitched baffles, the artificial down evenly distributes heat around the body and long sleeves with help from the smooth nylon taffeta lining and on the outer side of the waist large patch pockets with flap closures can be used to safely carry essential items. An additional zippered compartment has been added above the left side and slanted zippers on the front of either pocket can be used as hand warmer compartments. Working to seal in warmth, the long sleeves have adjustable cuffs as well as the bottom band of the body.
