Adidas x Metropolitan Fleece Track Pants

Arriving as part of the latest adidas x Metropolitan collaboration, these black Fleece Track Pants are made from a blend of recycled polyester and normal polyester and have a retro race-kit inspired design. Designed to keep you warm on cold nights, the majority of the design is soft fleece whilst pocket and ankle detailing is highlighted by smooth polyester with a subtle sheen. The waistband is partly elasticated for comfort with a snap button closure and triple reflective side stripes flow down the outer side of both legs which brings signature branding to the design in addition to printed adidas and Metropolitan logos on top of the side pockets. On the reverse an additional zippered pocket can be found on the right side which will keep any valuables secure. The insert detailing at the ankles is accentuated by a bright, real magenta flatlock stitched border and a narrow elasticated trim wraps around the edge to help keep the fit secure but flexible.

Looking at their lifestyles during the ‘90s for inspiration, Metropolitan revivers Keith Hufnagel and Hanni El Khatib decided to create a technical and fun collection of apparel for their latest collaboration with adidas which includes a new ZX 8000 design equipped with reflective overlays and ripstop inserts. Adorned with bold decals and graphics, the duo have taken inspiration from import tuner cars of the time which has helped to direct the aesthetic of decoration across the range.
