The new Adidas Sabalo model has been designed as Diego Najera’s first signature shoe. Made with a full grain leather upper, the body of the shoe is dressed in cream with hand picked detailing for a purposefully simplistic look. This includes tonal stitching running underneath the eye stays, which additionally feature a contrasting red, embroidered trefoil with ‘Najera’ text beneath. The clean white midsole features slightly curved mudguards to offer increased durability in those high-wear areas. Overall the Sabalo shoes put a playful take on the fisheye lens, prominent in skate cinematography.
Despite the clean and simplistic style, these pro shoes are function with a traditional vulcanized sole which is light, flexible and breaks in quickly for an unrivalled boardfeel. Geoflex tread pattern on the outsole provides superior grip and unmatched flex resulting in greater control, while internally a soft polyurethane insole offers added comfort and protection against heavy impacts.
Diego Najera was signed to Adidas Skateboarding in 2017, since having made a big name for himself following his first edit dubbed ‘ADELANTE’ which showcases the style and technical prowess which he has become known for.
