Noble Purple, Core Black, FTWR White

Adidas Heitor Forum 84 Low ADV Shoes in Noble Purple, Core Black and FTWR White. Arriving as the latest Rider Series instalment between adidas and team-rider Heitor da Silva, these nostalgic skate-centric sneakers are celebrated as the first reworked model for the iconic Forum silhouette since its OG court-side debut. Inspired by the ‘80s and old-school basketball heritage, these low-top ADV shoes are styled with uppers crafted from full-grain premium leather, whilst the off-white rubberised cupsole hosts a vintage vibe that remains ever-loyal to its classic Forum DNA. A grippy underfoot outsole helps deliver premium performance and traction as and when required, whilst adidas’ pioneering Adiprene molded sockliner helps keep impact resiliency at the forefront of the sneaker’s visionary purpose. Pebbled leather across the perforated toe-box and quarter supply added structural support across high-stress areas, whilst the patent black-gloss sidewall stripes pay homage to adidas’ iconic aesthetic. Decorating the deep-purple trims, a debossed Trefoil emblem stamps the skate shoe with certified craftsmanship, with the recessed 5-eyelet lacing system securing the gold-on-white ‘Heitor da Silva’ embroidered padded tongue across the natural arch of the foot in place of the iconic hook-and-loop strap seen on the ‘84 model. A reinforced bold-black heel brace wraps around the heel for increased abrasion and impact resistance, with the traditional ‘adidas’ Trefoil sole branding sealing this revolutionary new-era Forum 84 sneaker off in line with contemporary skate-led vision.

Originally debuting in 1984 in both a high and low-top variant, the iconic Forum profile is one that strikes the perfect balance between urban function and sports-centric purpose. Famed for its coveted status symbol amongst emerging street and sports culture, the infamous Forum silhouette marks its timely comeback in 2020 with this latest Rider Series instalment designed in collaboration with fast-footed team rider Heitor da Silva.

Recognising that the task of sustainability represents ‘a marathon, not a sprint’, adidas continues to adjust its supply management, environmental footprint and community programmes to suit. A founding member of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) since 2004, adidas continues to drive the notion of positive change across the sportswear industry. Since 2013, adidas continues to produce more than ‘11 million pairs of shoes’ utilising recycled plastic waste from coastal regions, whilst the use of bio-fabricated materials, sustainable cotton and Dry Dye fabrics take centre stage across all apparel.
