Blast Skates

Blast Skates

Producing products in England, Blast Skate was founded by London based illustrator Matthew Bromley and launched during Bromleys early days living in London with a desire to apply his illustrations to skateboard decks, no clients were offering him the job so he decided to go for it himself. With an aim to bring something new to the table after seeing repeatedly dull deck designs, Blast Skates is lead by a stand out pop of yellow and a fun lovin’ 1950s/60s inspired round character. Previous releases have included guest collaborations with Bromley’s favourite artists

including Marcus Oakley, Jon Boam and James Jarvis. The Chronological Board Series saw the release of some inspiring designs, all featuring artwork commissioned by Bromley with a theme of important points in history. There’s a really fun vibe flowing throughout all the Blast Skates gear which is fully driven by Bromley’s view on skateboarding to be playful, his sharp illustration style mixed with amusing scenarios keep things fresh and engaging.
