Nike SB x Jordan 1 Quickstrike - Paint Shoes Not Walls

Landing at Flatspot on Saturday 7th June are two very special edition takes on the classic Air Jordan 1, the Nike SB x Jordan 1 Quickstrike in Black and White.
In the second collaboration between the Jordan Brand and Nike SB we see the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette adorned in two colourways with premium black or white leather uppers, detailed respectively on each shoe with OG Red and Royal Blue accents. The really unique bit however is that as each pair is skated, the Black and White painted upper is worn away to reveal the contrasting (and mix matched) under coat colours scuffing through. Each shoe becomes an individual statement and completely unique to its owner.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 featured heavily in Powell-Peralta’s iconic 1987 ‘The Search For Animal Chin’ release with Steve Caballero, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain all skating in the original Air Jordan 1 which had been provided by Nike to replace the Bones Brigade members’ own worn out shoes.
In the video below Lance Mountain talks about his history with the AJ1 and his thoughts behind the inspiration for the concept.
You know the drill with the Nike SB special editions; they are very limited indeed and bound to fly out so don't forget to set your alarms. (FYI, they go on sale at 9am)
