Waterproof, durable and consciously made this black Torrentshell Jacket from Patagonia has a black H2No® Performance Standard shell made from 100% recycled nylon ripstop with a waterproof and breathable barrier, finished with a durable water repellent coating. The front is fastened by a full length zip which has a minimal-welt exterior and interior storm flaps that create a zipper-garage chin guard. The two-way adjustable hood has a laminated visor that rolls down and can be packed away when not needed using a simple cord and hook design. A microfleece panel has been added around the back of the neck for comfort. On the left side of the chest a woven Patagonia P-6 logo has been added for distinctive branding, and venting pit zips sit underneath the arms. On either side of the waist two zip secured handwarmer pockets are available for storage of essential items. The sleeves have velcro secured cuffs and the body has a drawcord hem which both work to seal out precipitation.
Designed with a versatile, unpretentious look the Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket will stand up to heavy downpours and has been constructed with secure seams. The fabric is bluesign approved and the shell fabric is 100% recycled, demonstrating Patagonia’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility. When not needed, this jacket can be packed away into itself through either of the handwarmer pockets, one of which has a carabiner clip in loop.
