The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Black / White is the iconic original colour way in this shoe. It sees fans revisiting it time and time again.
The heel and ankle support are made in toughened canvas. The Nike Swoosh is embroidered in white stitching and they ship with two sets of laces, black and white for either look.
Although designed for skateboarding, all of the unique assets of this Nike shoe transfer to every day wear. It is made with a suede upper and a traditional autoclave construction (that's subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam for those not in the construction industry) which fuses the midsole and outsole for a low-to-the-ground fit and streamlined style. In short, they're built to last.
The toes are perforated for ventilation, and they feature a moulded sockliner with a built-in Nike Zoom unit in the heel for cushioning. The ankle is a low-cut silhouette for non-restrictive fit but the upper is backed with foam for enhanced protection and comfort. Lastly the outsole is a tacky gum rubber with herringbone pattern for added traction.
Lets digest that simply. They are designed to be two things, comfortable and tough as hell.
Through all of the limited colourways, the Black/White design has remained perhaps the most popular, a classic for dressing up or dressing down. The black suede upper makes each pair unique, subtle black stitching and the Nike Swoosh embroidered on the side in bright white.
